CMC acquisition and WCCT partnership
In 2000, we acquired CMC out of Compton, California, founded in 1955. The company primarily designs and manufactures molds for concrete masonry and hardscape producers in the western US.
We also partnered with the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT), a premier facility for education, both in the classroom and hands-on, and for research and testing. The state-of-the-art production facility offers the ultimate in hands-on training as staff assists clients in the development, evaluation, and testing of alternative cementitious materials, waste streams, and other products for use in the concrete industry.
¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Company proudly recognized several milestones this year, including 110 years of business in the concrete products industry, 60 years of industry education, and 10 years as an employee-owned company. To acknowledge the significance and excitement behind these milestones, we introduced a new logo and website. Some may recognize the original globe that was incorporated in the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ logo during the late 1960’s to represent ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥â€™s global presence. Paying tribute to our company’s notable history while modernizing the logo to reflect the tremendous efforts we’ve made over the past several years is a true reflection of our growth and transformation.
